Time is Limited!!

Boy do we all seem to know that time is limited.  There's just never enough hours in a day to get everything done.  Am I right??!

If you've never tried Paper Pumpkin, it's an awesome kit that arrives direct to your door and is complete with all you need to create fun cards and projects. Your first kit always includes a clear block, and all kits will include ink, stamps, and all special adhesives required.  Scissors (rarely used) and possibly some simple tape runner might be handy to have around just in case, but that's it!

Christmas is here!!

My awesome and exciting new supplies from the new Stampin' Up Holiday catalog have arrived, and let me tell you I am so so excited!  I had an incredibly hard time narrowing down my list of faves, and must-haves, and need-to-haves...and really,really want's, and definitely want's...well, you get the point.

Just check out this gorgeous paper....!

It's beautiful and elegant and actually quite versatile.  Some of the sheets definitely have a Christmas focus, but a number of them could be used for many other themes also.   And don't get me started on the accessories that coordinate.

Just a sneak peak for today to get you excited for more.  Tomorrow is play time and then I will have cards to show you as well.

Sometimes little steps take you miles...

This is a little step.  A teeny tiny blog in the big wide world "on the line" as we jokingly call it, a throw back to a very epic movie called The Interns which you must see for a laugh if you haven't already.  So, it's a little step, but I'm hoping it is going to take me miles in my journey to create a little corner for myself in the stamping and creating world!  Regardless, I'm going to enjoy the journey and that in and of itself is an adventure.  

My name is Melanie and I've been a stay-at-home-mom for many...many....MANY years (at least it feels that way)!  My kids are 12 and  'a few weeks away from' 16.  Why I'm still home is a very long story which I may or may not get into down the road.  I also do some work for my dear hubby's company that he started a few years ago.  He works from home.  Enough said. 

So this blog and my crafty adventures are my little sanity project.  I have tried almost every craft under the sun, but my focus is card making.  I've been a Stampin' Up demonstrator for a year now and it's been more of a "hobby" approach as that's all that time has allowed.  No more....this is my line in the sand.  Stampin' Up brings me such joy and happiness, the awesome products and the beautiful creations, that I must share the joy!  I will be blogging, creating monthly classes, hopefully doing videos to upload for you, and maybe some tutorials as well.   The only thing better than doing my own crafting is sharing it with someone else!  So my goal for the coming year...to SEND SOME JOY!!
