Retiring...grab them while you can!!

It's that time of year... some of our favourites are retiring to make room for awesome new choices.

Please note: don't panic when you see how long the list is, they are listing every single stamp set that WAS available in wood and clear mount in the old catalog as retiring BUT bringing a bunch of them back in the new catalog as Cling Mount.  For example, Bokeh Dots and Tropical Chic.  Some of them are also listed because they will simply no longer be available as a BUNDLE for a 10% discount.  For these especially....make sure you take advantage of the savings and grab them while you can.

I've missed you all!

It's been far too long!
The holidays and thereafter have been a very busy and very stressful time.  But even though it's storming out right now things are looking up and my creative mojo is returning!

I made a card the other day after challenging myself to create something brand new, not a "CASE" from somewhere else.  (Copy And Share Everything)   It was incredibly well received by fellow SU demonstrators so I thought i'd share it with you!

This uses the Florentine Filigree bundle in the Occasions catalogue.  I used the copper metallic paper, Night of Navy paper and ink as well as Basic Black and Whisper White.  I also used the stitched circles dies to create the sentiment and if you look really closely you can see the copper thread between the two layers.

Copying other cards is a great way to get stamping.. but don't stop there!  Challenge yourself to create something that's completely your own.  You may surprise yourself!!
