This is a little step. A teeny tiny blog in the big wide world "on the line" as we jokingly call it, a throw back to a very epic movie called The Interns which you must see for a laugh if you haven't already. So, it's a little step, but I'm hoping it is going to take me miles in my journey to create a little corner for myself in the stamping and creating world! Regardless, I'm going to enjoy the journey and that in and of itself is an adventure.
My name is Melanie and I've been a stay-at-home-mom for many...many....MANY years (at least it feels that way)! My kids are 12 and 'a few weeks away from' 16. Why I'm still home is a very long story which I may or may not get into down the road. I also do some work for my dear hubby's company that he started a few years ago. He works from home. Enough said.
So this blog and my crafty adventures are my little sanity project. I have tried almost every craft under the sun, but my focus is card making. I've been a Stampin' Up demonstrator for a year now and it's been more of a "hobby" approach as that's all that time has allowed. No more....this is my line in the sand. Stampin' Up brings me such joy and happiness, the awesome products and the beautiful creations, that I must share the joy! I will be blogging, creating monthly classes, hopefully doing videos to upload for you, and maybe some tutorials as well. The only thing better than doing my own crafting is sharing it with someone else! So my goal for the coming year...to SEND SOME JOY!!
